Mona is a princess whose lot no little girl could possibly envy. Ever since her parents passed away, she has lived by herself in a castle with two hideous characters, Goomi and His Lordship. One day her sobs attract a unicorn, by the name of U, who claims she is there to
comfort and protect Mona for as long as she needs. So U becomes Mona's companion, both her little and big sister, her confidant and her inseparable friend. Life becomes sweeter.
While Mona grows into a beautiful princess, a group of charmingly peaceful and fanciful musicians settle in the neighbouring forest. They have no particular talent, yet they soon bring about major changes in the lives of castle dwellers. And most of all there's Kulka, the dreamy musician…
